Levira and Clappy join forces to turn television more interactive
07.11.2018
Digital services provider Levira started strategic cooperation with startup Clappy, a participant of the Seed Forum held on November 6, at the Tallinn TV Tower. The purpose of the collaboration is to bring an interactive element into TV for viewers. Companies also cooperated at the e-sports festival HyperTown, which took place in October in Tallinn.
“Levira and Clappy launched their cooperation to conquer international TV screens with a new and interactive solution. The innovative solution allows viewers to get more involved in live TV shows. Collaboration with Levira helps Clappy to develop its services further and expand to wider markets,” said Martti Kinkar, head of Media Services Development at Levira.
Clappy is an Estonian startup that will turn television interactive. Clappy will enable live shows to involve their viewers more closely and ask their opinion at any given moment. Clappy allows viewers to vote, comment and express their emotions in real time, using the emoticons we know from social media. Additional information on Clappy is available at: www.clappy.eu
The Seed Forum was organised in the Tallinn TV Tower brought together startups looking for financing and investors who want to fund new companies. The participating startups had been nominated by hubs, accelerators and other similar programs and have completed a full day of training, which involved preparing their sales pitch.
