Levira and Garage48 are joining hands
We are excited to announce that Levira and Garage48 are joining hands in a series of Hackathon events.
Hackathon is a weekend-long intensive development event where innovative ideas are turned into working prototypes in 48 hours. With origins from Estonia and Silicon Valley, Garage48 events began with being the first of their kind in rapidly developing tech countries like Ukraine, Latvia, Belarus and many others.
During the 48 hours, teams consisting of programmers, designers, marketers, visionary entrepreneurs, project managers and other cool people will develop creative ideas into working prototypes.
Levira is providing a container based cloud “Platform-as-a-Service” to all Hackathon teams at and after the event, so that real start-ups could get the right technologies to start conquering the world. It is a cloud platform where all teams can easily develop and test their ideas and proof of concepts.
“With this, Levira helps young businesses and start-up communities to make their ideas a reality. Hackathon is just a perfect place for that, giving teams 48 hours to accomplish their goals,” said Margus Uustalu, Head of Levira’s Cloud Services Division.
Garage48 event series started in Estonia in April 2010 and have expanded to other countries in Northern Europe and Africa since then. All Garage48 events are held in English and attract around 100 international participants with different skills, ranging from software development to design, marketing, sales and entrepreneurship.
