Levira is live streaming beautiful views of Estonia

14.02.2020

AS Levira launched on its website two free live streams from SkyView cameras. The first one, a panorama camera, started streaming at the turn of the year and is located as high as 279 metres in the Tallinn TV Tower. The other one is at 226 metres at Kohtla-Nõmme transmitter tower, is directed towards Central Estonia.

With the SkyView project Levira wishes to live stream the most beautiful views of Estonia, using AI-operated cameras that are set up at the highest masts. Levira will be making use of various technologies to provide an interactive image and AI-based analysis.

Levira’s Technology and IT Director Kristo Kaasan says that the camera network will be expanded this year. “SkyView’s artificial intelligence allows to detect forest fires and helps weather forecasters to get a quick overview of the weather in Estonia as well as private pilots to make safe take-offs and landings by using real-time weather information. Levira is planning to extend the network of SkyView cameras in 2020 and if anyone is interested in using and benefitting from SkyView, please contact us,” says Kaasan.

The camera at Kohtla-Nõmme mast will soon be replaced with a panorama camera to offer an even more splendid view.
