Martti Kinkar joined Levira’s management team as Director of Innovation and Development

Today Martti Kinkar joined Levira’s management team as Director of Innovation and Development, after having previously held the position of Media Services Development Manager in the company.

“During two years of working in Levira, Martti Kinkar has initiated and completed a number of notable projects, such as the launch of an interactive television experience in partnership with Votemo, an AI-based sports broadcasting project at Estonian sports halls, as well as attracting to Estonia international TV channels who need EU-wide licenses after Brexit and much more. With his experience, energy, and determination, Martti is well placed to guide Levira’s future development,” said Tiit Tammiste, Chairman of the Management Board of AS Levira.

“For Levira’s further development, I see an even greater internationalization of services and in this regard, the company has already made significant progress. We certainly want to provide our customers with a wider range of services than the current broadcasting and distribution of TV channels. The competition in the market is intensifying and the media sector is transforming very fast, so we have to keep up with the changes and assist our clients. In terms of technology and know-how, Levira has all the prerequisites to offer its service portfolio to customers in Estonia and elsewhere,” noted Martti Kinkar.

Prior to Levira, Kinkar worked at the telecom operator Tele2 for seven years, of which the last four years as a Value-Added Services Manager and before that as Product Manager and Corporate Sales Manager. Kinkar, who graduated from Estonian Business School with a degree in business and management, has also worked in the insurance sector.
