Meelis Anton appointed head of Levira Networks

The new head of Levira’s Network Services Division is Meelis Anton who will be in charge of managing Levira’s TV, radio and telecommunication services. He will start working at Levira on 1 February 2017.
“Meelis will bring a wealth of experience and fresh energy to our management. He has been long engaged in the telecom sector, both in Estonia and abroad, and has a great starting point for advancing Levira’s media and telecommunication services,” said Tiit Tammiste, Chairman of the Management Board.
“Levira has got an excellent team and clients who value innovative thinking and smart solutions,” said Meelis Anton. “Innovation and speedy implementation are the keywords in IT and telecommunications development. For the past few years I have been in charge of building and launching smart grids in Estonia and elsewhere in Europe, and I intend to use this experience for designing innovative solutions for Levira’s customers.”
Meelis Anton has led a varied career in the IT and telecom sector. He has worked for Ericsson Austria, Ericsson Eesti AS, Eesti Post and Cybernetica AS.
Levira is a provider of cloud, media and broadcast transmission services. Headquartered in Tallinn, Estonia, it operates one of the largest data centres in the Baltics, which complies with the highest security and reliability standards.
Levira is the main TV and radio broadcast transmission provider in Estonia and offers TV play-out services for international TV channels and media companies. Levira has three HD OB trucks and UAV (drone) for TV production.
