Museum TV becomes first UHD channel in DTT in Estonia

Estonian viewers can now enjoy Museum TV in stunning UHD quality on Digital Terrestrial Television. This channel, dedicated to art and galleries, is accessible on TVs supporting the 4K UHD format.

 

“A new era in Estonian Digital Terrestrial TV broadcasting has begun with the launch of a channel offering crystal-clear picture quality. UHD is one of the most advanced formats in the television industry, and Levira is thrilled to lead the way in Estonia by providing this exceptional viewing experience. Kaasan added that the test period will last at least six weeks, and viewers are encouraged to provide feedback on their viewing experience via Levira’s website at https://digilevi.ee/kasutajatugi/. From 1st July 2024, in addition to Museum TV represented by Wide Media and Thema, Duo Media Networks TV channels Kanal 2, Duo 4, Duo 5 and Kanal 7 are also on free-to-air.  This brings the total number of DTT channels to 11, including ETV, ETV2, ETV+, Ukraina24, and France 24.
