Levira operates a Ku-band video distribution service on ABS-2A at 75° East, giving broadcasters and content owners one managed route into markets across Eurasia, from Eastern Europe through Central Asia, the Caucasus and beyond.

Instead of managing multiple technical providers, uplink sites and regional arrangements, customers work with Levira as a single, accountable partner from studio to screen.

A European gateway into Eurasia

Levira receives, processes and uplinks the channel from its teleport in Estonia. Agility Beyond Space provides the satellite capacity and regional reach from 75° East via ABS-2A’s Northern Ku-band beam. Together, the service provides broadcasters with one coordinated route from contribution through to satellite distribution.

What's Included

  • Contribution: hand over your feed by Zixi, SRT, fibre or turnaround.
  • Channel origination, encoding and multiplexing at Levira's teleport in Estonia, an EU member state.
  • Uplink to ABS-2A's Northern Ku-band beam, carried by Agility Beyond Space from 75° East.
  • 24/7 managed broadcast operations, monitored and supported around the clock.
  •  Reception across the footprint using 60, 90 or 120 cm dishes, depending on location. 

Why it works

ABS-2A's Northern Ku-band beam is one of the largest in the world by geographic reach: 25 million square kilometres, spanning eleven time zones, a sixth of the world's landmass. A single satellite can simplify distribution across markets that might otherwise require several satellites, uplink sites and regional arrangements.

It's also an established neighbourhood rather than a new one. The Northern beam already carries a wide line-up of television platforms and channels, so a broadcaster joining inherits installed dishes, industry familiarity and an audience that already tunes in across the region.

ABS-2A has been on station since 2016 and has a station-kept lifetime extending to 2045, supporting long-term distribution planning.
